African Artists' Foundation (AAF) is looking to employ a dedicated writer (who may also have graphic design skills) to act as Primary Content Developer for its quarterly newsletter.

MISSION: The African Artists' Foundation
provides support to professional artists in Africa through healthcare,
a pension fund for aging artists, scholarships for young artists, support
for the professional development of women artists, international exhibits
and community outreach programs to foster an enabling environment for
the development and promotion of public health through artistic endeavours.
The
African Artists' Foundation, based in Lagos,
has as its dual mission; the promotion of African arts and artists and
the promotion of public health issues and awareness. The Foundation
is unique in Nigeria in that it complies, not only with all the requirements
of a charitable foundation in Nigeria, but is organized and incorporated
to be recognized as a non-profit charitable foundation in the United
States as well.
AAF programs benefits artists and the general public through improved livelihoods and education. The focus is on creativity and self-expression and a form of empowerment by encouraging self-actualization and fulfilment. We believe in looking inwards for growth and advancement.
The
African Artists' Foundation is based
in Lagos, Africa's most populated city. The AAF is the Resident
Artistic Organization in the new Lagos Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe
