Ogaga TudunyeThe goal of the African Artists Foundation Women Artists Scholarship Program is to provide education scholarships for promising female students starting from primary, secondary up through University and Postgraduate training. The program recognizes the unique obstacles faced by women artists seeking to pursue a life in the fine arts and receive adequate training towards that end. The scholarship will provide artistic and full academic education to female artists showing extraordinary potential. A target of at least ten female participants shall be enrolled in the program at any given time.

The AAF will provide support for these students through scholarships to educational institutions within Nigeria and worldwide to ensure that the quality of education received by the participants will qualify the graduate for admission to a premier fine arts university program or internationally recognized arts academy. AAF will assist the scholarship student in obtaining admission and funding to further her educational career. AAF will also provide mentorship for scholarship students with leading African artists throughout their participation in the program. In exchange, graduates of the AAF Scholarship Program are encouraged to return to the program as mentors to the next class of scholarship recipients.
